It’s Monday, What Are You Reading?

Hi all!

How has your Monday been? Mine has been okay, I’ve just been doing Uni work. However, it is my Dad’s birthday so I hope to celebrate properly later!
Anyway, today’s post I thought I would do another It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? post because I loved the last time I did it. It’s when I talk about what I am currently reading, what I just read and what I plan to read. It’s hosted by the Book Date. I like that it is a little bit like a wrap-up but in the middle of the month just to spice things up! So I hope you enjoy, let’s get on with it!

What I Read Last Week:

Last week I was pretty productive reading-wise as I read Out of the Blue by Simon Armitage and Window’s on the World by Frederic Beigbeder which were both for my English Lit Course. But then for my own personal reading, I read Hel to Pay by Emily Stormbrook. My thoughts on all of them are in this post HERE.

What I am Reading:

I am currently reading The Billionaire Athlete’s Christmas Fling by Leslie North, so far I’m liking it but I’ve only just started it there so there is a lot to go yet.

What I Plan to Read Next:

I also got the sequel to The Billionaire Athlete’s Christmas Fling on Netgalley so that is what I plan to read next. My Netgalley list is overflowing and overwhelming so I just want to make a dent in that over Christmas but I don’t have a specific order to read them in.

Last Weeks Posts:

December Anticipations
December Bullet Journal Flip-Through
Wednesday Word of the Week – Frankincense
Friday Finds #8
Mini Reviews #5

I hope you guys liked this! Please tell me if you did because I will keep doing them if that’s the case. I want to hear about what you’ve been reading in the past week or what you plan to read this week! Also what blog post did you write recently that was your favoruite? I want to hear about them! Have a great day and I will see you on Wednesday for my Word of the Week. ❤

  1. I always love seeing what people have been reading. Last week I finished Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco and Song of Susannah by Stephen King and I’m currently reading On The Cone Up by Angie Thomas.

    1. I’ve never read any of those! I love finding out what people are reading too. I’m excited to get into reading for myself again rather than jist books that are prescribed on my uni course.

  2. Hi Maisy I’m not even sure if comments of non-bloggers are welcome since I always only see other bloggers comment on book review blogs…. but would like to tell you how much I like your blog.
I’ve just finished “And the stars were burning brightly” by Danielle Jawando. Wow! One of my top 5 in 2020. I’m going to read now Susan Abulhawa “Against the loveless world”.
    Have a wonderful week !
