November Wrap Up 2020

Hi guys!

Happy Monday. Mine was going well but I feel like crap today, I’ve got a cold and I just want to curl up and sleep it off but I have Uni stuff that needs done.
So, to cheer me up I thought I would do my November Wrap up because these are my favourite kinds of posts to do. Plus, you guys seem to enjoy them too. So let’s get started shall we?…

Reading Breakdown:

Books I planned to Read: 2
Books I Read: 12
Books I Read that weren’t on my TBR: 11

Total Pages: 2,983

Enemies & Lovers – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (My Review)
Braco – ⭐⭐⭐
Love’s Sacrifice – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Astrophel and Stella – ⭐⭐⭐
Footnotes in Gaza – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Windows on the World – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
John Donne Poetry – ⭐⭐⭐
I Could Read the Sky – ⭐⭐
Hel to Pay – ⭐⭐
Breaking up with Barrett – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Out of the Blue – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Amoretti – ⭐⭐

Currently Reading:

I am still reading Murder at the Dolphin Hotel by Helena Dixon just because as you can see I was drowning in books for my uni course this month and didn’t have the time to read many books that were of my own choosing. I said I wanted to try get to it this month but I didn’t manage it; maybe December though!

Music Faves:

I’ve not been listening to much music this month but I still found a few faves.

TV/Movie Faves:

I didn’t really watch as much tv as usual for me this month. Uni has taken over most of my life and I’ve started a lot of long run tv programs rather than bingeing shows so it’s taking me longer to get through them because I have to wait until they air each week instead.

Always Sunny in Philadelphia – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Rewatch)
Taskmaster (Season 10) – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Great British Bake off (Season 11) – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Strictly Come Dancing 2020 – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Criminal Minds (Season 14) – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great Pottery Throwdown (Season 1) – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Rewatch)
Holidate – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Bones – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Rewatch)

Youtube Faves:

I haven’t been watching much youtube this month – but when I am watching it, it tends to be Syndicate as Call of Duty: Cold War has just released and he’s been making a lot of videos on it and I’ve been loving them.

Favourite Blog Post of the Month:

Not to blow my own trumpet but there were a few posts of my own that I enjoyed this month – first being my November Bullet Journal post because as per usual I adore doing these and they have quickly become a new favourite kind of post of mine and I want to do more BuJo content. Then I was really proud of my What I Post Then VS. Now post, because it felt kind of original and just was just great to look back.

I haven’t had much time to read many other blogs this month sadly because of trying to balance my uni and blogging life but I did find a blog that is new to me – DW @ Yonya Girl and it was an instant subscribe once I read her November Bullet Journal post. It was incredible.

Favourite Thing This Month:

I am still trying to knit – and I managed to rope my mum into helping so I could finish my blanket quicker – I have 20ish squares now.
I am also still on my French duolingo streak – 135 days now!! I am so proud of myself and although I am not seeing any change in my speaking, my reading and my vocab has greatly improved. It’s really rewarding to see my improvement.
I’ve been really liking lighting candles at the moment as it has been putting me in a positive studying atmosphere, my favourite is Vanilla Lime by Yankee Candle. Highly recommend!

So that’s it for this month’s wrap up. I hope you enjoyed this and that you are all safe and healthy ❤ And I hope you have a great weekend and this month was good to you!

What have you been up to this month?
What was the best book you read?
What are you most excited for in December?

  1. Ah I hope you are feeling better now, May 🥰 Good luck with knitting, you’re super talented so you will get the hang of it soon. I’m loving Strictly as well – the standard is really high this year! Have a great December!

          1. I was unsure about Hrvy at first but he has definitely grown on me, the same with JJ. Ah I only watch Strictly on BBC iPlayer lol so I skip the interviews!
I created a Strictly book tag last year as well 🙂 Hope you are having a good day.
