Today’s my birthday!! I am 20 years of age…and I feel so old haha! I got a new phone which I am super happy about because my other one keeps crashing. Anyway, these are always my favourite posts to write. There’s something so satisfying about writing out everything you’ve done in a month. I got a lot of reading done this month so I have feeling this will be an extra long one, so grab yourself a slice of cake (or tiffin, which was my birthday item of choice instead) and settle down for this months wrap up.

A Game of Wings and Marks by Rebecca Crunden. This was kindly sent to me by the author and I just started it last night. I’m excited to see where it goes.
When Octavia Coal goes to the mountains to clear her head, she doesn’t expect to find an angel in trouble. He tells her his name is Tamiel and he’s one of the Irin – the army of angels tasked with keeping demons from overwhelming humanity. But Tamiel broke a sacred law – he fell in love with a human – and now he’s being hunted by the same angels he once served. With nowhere else to go, Octavia and Tamiel – along with Jack, the human in question, and her brother Caleb – appeal directly to Zev, the Demon of Games. A trickster of unparalleled power, Zev gives nothing for free, and the gift he offers Octavia to keep Tamiel alive comes with a confusing catch: He makes her the Healer of Raphael, archangel and Commander of the Irin. Suddenly a target for both angels and demons, Octavia quickly learns that the only way to survive is to play the game better than they do. The only problem is, she doesn’t know whose game she’s playing …

I haven’t been watching too many new Youtubers this month because I basically spent every free moment on Criminal Minds. But I did start watching a new ASMRtist – Kota ASMR. I found her through one of my favourite ASMRtist – Peace and Saraity ASMR who said she really liked her so I gave her a shot and she was right, she is adorable and very tingly.
Favourite Blog Post of the Month:
This month was filled with loads of Tags. I loved doing them but I also loved reading them. My favourite was probably the Mid-Year Freak Out Tag – Which I plan to do next week! But I also loved the Lockdown 2020 tag too!
Favourite Thing This Month:
I loved my BuJo theme for June – I was so proud of it and when I saw it everyday it just made me feel so positive and good!
I also loved working on two of my current WIP’s. One is a YA Contemporary Romance which I am writing with some friends and the other is a New Adult Rock God Romance that I am writing myself.
Lastly, I did an “online escape room” called Mr X with my family and it was amazing. It was more like a treasure hunt but either way it was so much fun! It was run by Durham Escape rooms and we managed it in just under an hour! I really reccomend you give it a try because it was such a great we activity to keep you entertained.
So that’s it for this month’s wrap up. I hope you enjoyed this and that you are all safe and healthy and have a great weekend! ❤
