Concatenation

Wednesday’s Word of the Week: Concatenation

Meaning: A collection of interconnected things.

Where I Heard It: My friend Musa said it the other day: “That’s an interesting concatenation of words” and I loved the sound of it. I instantly googled it, having never heard it before and on the surface his sentence doesn’t make great grammatical sense, however he is studying computer programming and concatenation is a term within programming so he used it more in that context which is when you join to strings of code together. Or at least I think so. But anyway, it is a lovely word to say.

Pronunciation: Con-Cat-en-aeh-shh-on
