Top 5 Book Series I Want To Continue

Hiya,

How has your week been so far? I’ve been home,  hence why my posts are coming out later and later because I’ve been hella distracted. On a positive note, I finally got myself a domain – https://hawthornbookreviews.com/
The only real difference…there is no wordpress in it XD
I was scrolling through my read list on Goodreads and realised that when I first started my blog I went through a phase of having books sent to me in return for honest reviews and I actually liked a surprising amount of them. The only real issue was that they were all the first in a series and they were only just coming out – and I have a horrific memory. Hence, why despite loving them, I kind of forgot that I wanted to read the next one/that I had to keep an eye-out for them coming out. But now, a couple of years later, the second or even third in the series are out and I have listed the ones I plan to read soon.
Let’s hop right in shall we?

1. The Beyond Moondust Trilogy by J.E Nicassio

Like I said above, I read the first 2 in this series in return for an honest review. I gave them a solid 4 stars each. Despite my horrendous memory, I do remember loving this, especially the love triangle and constant plot twists. It was a total roller coaster and I totally recommend.
The third, aka final book in this series (Aurora’s Curtain) came out on February 8th 2018, so over a year ago now and this is definitely one I want to read first.

2. The Obscured Series by C.M Boers

This was the first review I was ever given to do on my blog so it holds a special place in my heart. There was already the second in the series out when I first read it, and sadly I let that fall by the wayside when it came to my quickly mounting TBR. But as of now there are 2 more in the series and I really did love these. At the time I wasn’t keen, but looking back I was really harsh on it because I had little perspective. Anyway, the following 3 in the series are rocketing to the top of my TBR.

3. Hinder (Guarding Monsters Series) by Kristin Ping

The second book in this series isn’t actually out yet. It is just coming soon. But I thought I would put it on the list because 1. I want to read it 2. I don’t want to forget to read it XD. This was also a really great book.
This is also kind of different to the others on the list because the second in the series doesn’t actually follow on from Ethan and Alex’s POV. This series covers the whole witching universe so it hops from story to story and Kristin wants to go back and continue their story after she has got a few more parts of the universe written and published. I’m still going to read it.

4. The Kennedy Boys Series by Siobhan Davis

I read the first two in this series, not in return for a review but because the opportunity for me to review the 5th book in the series (which was a standalone) cropped up and I thought I should at least try to read the series before agreeing to the later book in the series. For whatever reason I didn’t end up reviewing Saving Brad. But I did get through the first two in the series, and I loved them. They were so unique and gripping and constantly had you on the edge of your seat. I cannot wait to get back into it!

5. Joined by Mara Gan

The next one in this series is also just in the pipeline in the moment and is due to come out this summer. I cannot wait, after the cliff-hanger this one ended on I need answers!! Summer can’t come quick enough.

So that’s all guys.
It feels so good to get back into doing these posts because they were always some of my favourite to do. Hopefully you will see reviews for these soon because that will mean that I finally read them. I NEED NEED NEED to read these!! Anyway, I hope you all have a great weekend and I will see you tomorrow.
