April TBR

Hiya,

I can’t even believe that it is April already!! I know I say that each month but seriously I can’t even believe how fast this year has gone! I sit my exams in a month…wow.

My wrap up yesterday was very sparse and I did promise this month would be better but it will still probably be lacking in comparison to other months.

Book from Last Months TBR:
The Sight of Demons (The Master of Perceptions #1) by Darin C Brown, same as last months TBR, so if you’re curious you can check that out HERE.The Sight of Demons

Hunter Miller sees demons. The terrifying shadows engulf him and everyone he knows—yet nobody else notices their presence.
Hunter can’t escape them, so he sets out to understand them. Why do they follow him? What are they trying to tell him?
In this first installment of the Master of Perceptions series, pre-teen Hunter discovers that every sensation the demons produce—whether it be sight, sound, texture, flavor, or smell—has a different meaning, and that by breaking this code, he just might be able to harness their power.

Series from Last Months TBR: Book of Faeries Series by Maggie Stiefvater, again same as last month so you can look at that on the same link if you are interested in more details. Lament

Sixteen-year-old Dee is a cloverhand – someone who can see faeries. When she finds herself irresistibly drawn to beautiful, mysterious Luke, Dee senses that he wants something more dangerous than a summer romance.
But Dee doesn’t realize that Luke is an assassin from the faerie world.
And she is his next target.

Series I want to Re-Read: The Lynburn Legacy Series by Sarah Rees Brennan – just got a craving to read it while writing this. I have talked about this many a time, I have a very detailed spoiler-free post HERE on the entire series.unspoken.PNG

Kami Glass loves someone she’s never met… a boy she’s talked to in her head ever since she was born. She wasn’t silent about her imaginary friend during her childhood, and is thus a bit of an outsider in her sleepy English town of Sorry-in-the-Vale. Still, Kami hasn’t suffered too much from not fitting in. She has a best friend, runs the school newspaper, and is only occasionally caught talking to herself. Her life is in order, just the way she likes it, despite the voice in her head.
But all that changes when the Lynburns return.
The Lynburn family has owned the spectacular and sinister manor that overlooks Sorry-in-the-Vale for centuries. The mysterious twin sisters who abandoned their ancestral home a generation ago are back, along with their teenage sons, Jared and Ash, one of whom is eerily familiar to Kami. Kami is not one to shy away from the unknown—in fact, she’s determined to find answers for all the questions Sorry-in-the-Vale is suddenly posing. Who is responsible for the bloody deeds in the depths of the woods? What is her own mother hiding? And now that her imaginary friend has become a real boy, does she still love him? Does she hate him? Can she trust him?

Series I Have Started and Not Finished: Eclipse (Twilight #3) by Stephanie Meyer, I read the first two in the twilight series last October time…I think and thought it was about time I got onto this one – this is my favourite of all the films so hopefully the book is just as good if not better.Eclipse

As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob – knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?

That’s what I plan to read in April, whether it happens or not is as yet undecided but who knows what miracles may occur.
I hope everyone’s March was great and that April is even better. I also hope my daily posts keep happening because I am kinda loving it!

Thanks and Happy Reading,
Maisy.
