March Wrap Up

March Wrap Up

Hi!

This is going to be a very short wrap up because I only read one book this month. Yep, you heard it (read it but oh well) 1 BOOK! And to top it off it was none of the ones on my TBR… I did soooo well *hits self in head with the nearest book*
I am totally blaming extreme studying/ heavy school work – I have managed daily posts this month though so give me a thumbs up for that at least!

Read:

Blackmail Boyfriend (The Boyfriend Chronicles #1) by Chris Cannon –

I read this on the 8th of March so what feels like ages ago now even though March seems to have past in a second. But I enjoyed this, it was a super quick read I had had on my TBR for a while and it was a nice distraction from the impending doom of procrastination ending. The characters were a little annoying as they definitely only had a relationship because that’s what the plot needed and not because there was a genuine connection. But it wasn’t bad and individually I loved everyone. Jane was my favourite because she was so cute.
Nice plot idea and it was very cute at times and yet cliché and predictable in a good way.
Overall, 3.75 stars it was good.Blackmail Boyfriend.PNG

Sometimes, blackmail is the only weapon a girl has…
Haley Patterson has had a crush on golden boy Bryce Colton for ages. But when she hears a rumor that he hooked up with her she gives him a choice: be her boyfriend for a month to show other guys that she’s dateable—despite her overprotective and very intimidating brothers—or deal with the angry, cage-fighting boyfriend of the girl he actually did hook up with.

Bryce didn’t know the other Haley even had a boyfriend. He was just trying to get his ex off his back. And now, not only is he being blackmailed, he’s being blackmailed by an honor student. His new “girlfriend” has two three-legged dogs, her father mows grass at the country club, and she’s…well, difficult. And different.

Can something so fake turn into something real?

Currently Reading:

Nothing…The daily posts and exam prep have hit my reading habits hard and I feel a slump coming on, so how knows when I read next!

Sorry for how short this post is because I haven’t picked up a book in ages, April is going to be more productive – I promise…i’ll aim for at least 2 XD

Thanks and Happy Reading,
Maisy.
