The Halloween Book Tag

Hi,

Happy Halloween All!!!!
This is my favourite time of year. November is my favourite month and I am super excited because I have decided to take part in NaNoWriMo for the first time!
If you don’t know what it is: NaNoWriMo is the National Novel Writing Month. You have 30 days to write a 50,000 word novel and it’s for charity! If you want updates on how my novel is going, check out my twitter as I will be posting updates.

Back to today’s post. I have adapted this slightly from the one I found on The Sassy Book Geeks blog as I don’t like reading horror or thriller books so I have just picked the questions I feel I can answer. Enjoy!

1. If You Could Go Trick-or-Treating With Any Author, Who Would You Pick?

I would pick Sarah Rees Brennan because she would cheer me up with funny lines from The Lynburn Legacy Series so that I am not scared anymore.

2. If You Could Dress Up As Any Bookish Character For Halloween, Who Would You Be?

My first instinct was Edward Cullen from Twilight because I want to cover myself in glitter. Secondly I thought of the R.O.U.S (Rodents Of Unusual Size) from The Princess Bride. But more realistically I would go as Cammie from the Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter.

3. If You Could Find Anything (From Any Book) In Your Trick-or-Treat Stash, What Would You Hope To Find?

Easy. Owen’s iPod from Just Listen.

4. In What Fictional World Would You Like To Go Trick-or-Treating?

As I mainly read Urban Fantasy this was a tough one. I think I may have cheated ever so slightly because I think it’s a place in the states but it was so long since I have read it I can’t truly remember and it might be one of those things where its set in Illinois but a fictional town within the real place. But anyway, I would pick where ever The Lake Series by AnnaLisa Grant is set. They have some snazzy houses there. I bet they would give out great sweets.

5. What Book Villain Would You Not Like To Meet Alone In A Dark Alley On Halloween?

All of them!!!
I mean is there really any villain you would want to meet in a dark alley? If so then why?
I couldn’t pick one…sorry. They are all just so evil.

6. Would You Rather Dress Up As A Vampire, Zombie, Werewolf, or Shadowhunter?

Shadowhunter!!!! I want to be as bad-ass as Jace or Alec!!! I am extremely clumsy so to have the equilibrium rune would be super helpful!

7. What Is Your Favourite Halloween Sweet/Chocolate?

Probably mini Mars bars, or Drumsticks. They are both fabulous and it simply depends on my mood which I prefer.

So that’s it. Happy Halloween everyone!
I apologise again for lack of posting that may come; NaNoWriMo will be taking up a hefty amount of time as well as school work. I hope you have had a grand October and I will be back with my October Wrap Up very soon.

Thanks and Happy Reading,
Maisy.
