I know I posted a tag only two days ago but as I was exploring the internet for new book suggestions I stumbled upon this tag on the bibliophile girl’s blog and I loved it. It is repetitively similar to my reading habits book tag but oh well. Enjoy anyways.
The basic premise of this is you have to answer the questions with the first answer to some into your head. Hence my short answers.
1.E-book or Physical book?
I love a E-book because portability but I mean physical books will always be the best.
2.Paperback or Hardback?
Paperback all the way!
3.Online or In-store shopping?
occasionally online but predominantly In-store (That’s my favourite of the two anyways)
4.Trilogies or Series?
I don’t mind? as long as their good, i’ll read however many are presented to me.
5.Hero’s or Villains?
Hero’s (I mean I tend to back the POV and that happens to be the hero majority of the time)
6.What book do you want everyone to read?
Obsidian (Lux #1) by Jenifer L. Armentrout. (By everyone I mainly mean Bode! Hurry up and read it! But I mean everyone should read it anyway)
7.Recommend an underrated book?
The Boy who Sneaks in my Bedroom Window by Kirsty Moseley (I don’t even know how underrated this is, it was just the first thing I though of)
8.The last book I finished?
Bonds of Fire (The Bellum Sisters #2) by T. A. Grey.
I really liked it, the series is a bit raunchy for my tastes by I started it now so I have to finish it or it will annoy me, other than that I like it.
9.The last book I bought?
The Princess Bride by William Goldman; I am thinking about doing Goldman’s writing for my English dissertation this year. Also The Princess Bride is my favourite movie of all time. When I saw it was on sale too, My mind was like “As you wish”
10. The weirdest thing you used as a bookmark?
My phone probably? But I have a friend who used a packet of paracetamol as a bookmark (Silly Jennie)
11.Used books – Yes or No?
Avid readers know I am a big YES! Books for cheap, who would say no?
12. Top three favourite genres?
(Does them being under the YA genre bracket count as one or not? I’ m saying nope cause they are all YA but different plot things) Contemporary Romance, Supernatural or Fantasy (I don’t know the correct title) and Sci-Fi.
13. Borrow or buy?
Buy, all the way! I love owning a book, if i borrow it I always feel rushed to read it and don’t enjoy it as much.
14. Characters or Plot?
I kind of cheated on this one, at first I was like Characters because I have stopped reading books because I disliked characters but never because the plot was boring but then I was like, If I didn’t like the blurb of a book (Basically a summarised plot) then I won’t read the book. SO my real answer is Plot but if I’m following the rules of the Tag then Characters.
15.Long or short books?
What counts as long and short, around 300 pages whatever that is?
16.Long or short chapters?
Mix? That is the best way to create suspense and who doesn’t love suspense?
17.Name the first three books you think of…
Unspoken (The Lynburn Legacy #1) by Sarah Rees Brennan; I love this book (and the whole series)
Night Owls by Jenn Bennett; I bought that a while back and it’s sitting on my TBR awaiting me getting to it finally.
18.Books that make you laugh or cry?
I cry when I laugh so…both in a way? Also I cry at nearly everything so I feel like this is unfair because I have never not cried at a book.
19.Our world or fictional world?
Our world, 100%. It makes me feel like I’m part of the story more.
20. Audio books – Yes or no?
Yes; I haven’t listened to many but what I have I have loved.
21. Do you ever judge a book by it’s cover?
Doesn’t everyone, You have to have had an impression on the book if you are to have picked it up?
22.Book to movie or Book to TV adaptations?
TV all the way! I am much more of a TV watcher than a movie buff. Plus they can fit so much more detail in because it’s spread over a longer time.
23.A movie or TV show you preferred to it’s book?
Movie- The hunger games; I couldn’t even finish the book, but I loved the first couple of films.
TV Show- Shadowhunters; I didn’t mind the book (I only read the first so far) but the TV show is just so incredible! If you haven’t watched it, do.
24.Series or Standalone’s?
Probably a series but I do love a good stand-alone occasionally.
So, that is it for this tag; I thoroughly enjoyed that, I hope you learnt some trivial and unimportant information about me. Please try this out and comment it below or email it to me because I’m interested in your answers. Also I got a cool idea for a post half-way through; my opinion on the book to TV adaptations I have seen? If you would be interested in that comment below please, thanks muchly.
I noticed that there were 24 questions once I had finished. This is both the birthday and favourite number of my bizarre friend Keez. Happy 17th dearie.
Thanks and Happy Reading,
